SunPower Appoints New Heads of ESG and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Solar technology and energy services provider SunPower announced today that it has appointed Joanne Endow and Maribelle Bostic to the newly created roles of Head of ESG and Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), respectively.
Endow has been at SunPower for over 14 years, most recently in the role of Vice President, Global Audit & Advisory Services. She has held several senior positions at the company, including Sr. Director, Business Process Transformation & APAC Controller, Director, Finance Process Transformation, and Director, Corporate Finance. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the company’s environmental, social and corporate governance initiatives across all processes and business units, including include oversight for the annual SunPower ESG Report, the SunPower Product Discount program for universities and qualified nonprofits to purchase solar for educational and community-based projects, and the Horizons STEM Program that educates youth about solar power.
Bostic has worked at SunPower since 2003, most recently serving as Director, HR Business Partner. In her tenure at the company she has held increasingly senior HR roles. In her new role, she will be responsible for will advancing SunPower’s DE&I commitments, including recruiting from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBUCs), diverse trade associations, and student and professional societies. SunPower stated that she will also liaise with employee-led resource groups, strengthen the evaluation procedure to support minority-owned vendors, and establish policies to actively include minority-owned businesses in any RFP process.
