Ramboll, IBM Partner to Offer Sustainability Strategy and Reporting Solutions
Denmark-based architecture, engineering and consultancy firm Ramboll and IBM announced today a new collaboration aimed at offering clients with software and services to help meet sustainability targets and report on value chain greenhouse gas emissions.
According to the companies, the new collaboration will bring together Ramboll’s sustainability consulting capabilities with IBM’s ESG data collection, analysis and reporting platform, IBM Envizi, to help organizations manage ESG data, and to provide sustainability strategy and decarbonization advice.
Martin Blumberg, Business Development Director, Decarbonization Services at Ramboll, said:
“With IBM’s Envizi ESG Suite, we help implement ESG management within businesses. This alliance empowers our clients to proactively navigate their decarbonisation and ESG reporting journeys. It leverages our unique blend of ESG advisory management and disclosure competencies to help clients comply with ESG-regulations and unlock innovative and effective strategies.”
IBM acquired Envizi in 2022, as part of its efforts to enhance its AI-powered ESG solutions capabilities. The company has added to the platform since the acquisition, including supply chain emissions data and analysis and CSRD sustainability reporting capabilities.
Roberto Battistoni, Envizi ESG suite EMEA Sales Leader at IBM, said:
“IBM is very excited to work with Ramboll, scale IBM Envizi further across the market, and help unlock the potential of both supply chain and corporate ESG data for clients. Ramboll’s Net Zero consulting practice will support Envizi clients in advancing their operational sustainability by offering expert guidance on reducing environmental impact and enhancing efficiency.”
