PwC Appoints Ellen Walsh as Sustainability Executive Sponsor
Professional services firm PwC US announced the appointment of Ellen Walsh as Executive Sponsor of its Sustainability Practice, with responsibility for leading the firm’s efforts to drive long-term sustainability-related growth and deliver investor-grade reporting for clients.
The announcement was made alongside the appointment by the firm of Dan Priest as PwC US’ first Chief AI Officer, with the firm stating that it “is increasing its investments in the fast-growing areas of AI and sustainability.”
In its statement announcing the appointments, the firm added:
“PwC’s increased investments in AI and sustainability reflect an ongoing commitment to supporting clients as they navigate these important opportunities.”
Walsh takes on her new role after more than 31 years at PwC, most recently serving as Deputy Leader, Transformation Consulting Solutions, in addition to having led PwC’s Insurance sector practice.
