ICE Launches ESG Bond Indices, Announces Collaboration with CBTC Investments
Global exchange and clearing house operator Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) announced today an agreement between its market data solution ICE Data Services and Taiwan-based asset management company CTBC Investments to collaborate on the development of ESG indices and financial products for market participants.
ICE announced the launch of two new ESG bond indices, the ICE 15+ Year Large Cap USD Emerging Markets External Sovereign Carbon Reduction Index and the ICE 15+ Year Ultra Large Cap Developed Markets US Corporate Best-in-Class ESG Index. According to ICE and CBTC, the asset manager will launch ETF products tracking the new ESG indices, which have been recognized through CTBC Investments’ efforts by the Taipei Exchange, as their underlying benchmarks.
