Fifth Third Bank Adds Chief Enterprise Corporate Responsibility Officer Role to Head of Business Banking Kala Gibson
Financial services company Fifth Third Bank, National Association announced that it has appointed Kala Gibson as Chief Enterprise Corporate Responsibility Officer, adding to his role of Executive Vice President & Head of Business Banking. The bank stated that Gibson’s role is expanding to include responsibility for Community and Economic Development.

Gibson joined Fifth Third in 2011, and was named Head of Business Banking in 2013. He currently serves as chair of the Bank’s Executive Diversity Leadership Council.
Fifth Third Bank also announced that it has promoted Stefanie Steward-Young to chief corporate social responsibility officer and Jada Grandy-Mock to chief corporate community and economic development officer. In her new role, Steward-Young will be responsible for managing the bank’s response to the communities it serves and driving corporate social responsibility strategy, a key facet of the bank’s ESG leadership. Grandy-Mock will manage the bank’s comprehensive Community Economic Development (CED) strategies, and will have oversight of CRA compliance, CRA lending and investment strategy, as well as development and implementation of CRA community engagement and partnerships. In addition, she will oversee the Bank’s multicultural strategy.
