Credit Suisse AM Names Jeroen Bos Global Head of Sustainable Investing
Credit Suisse announced today that it has hired Jeroen Bos from NN Investment Partners, appointing him to the newly created position of Global Head of Sustainable Investing for Asset Management, according to a memo seen by ESG Today.
In his new role, Bos will build up Credit Suisse Asset Management’s sustainability capabilities, and work to strengthen the division’s sustainable investment offering globally.
Bos has worked at Netherlands-based asset manager NN IP, which recently announced it was being acquired by Goldman Sachs, for over 13 years, most recently serving as Head of Specialised Equity & Responsible Investing, leading a team of approximately 45 portfolio managers, analysts and data scientists who combine deep fundamental analysis, ESG, Impact/SDG & Sustainability insights with data analysis to develop attractive investment solutions. He also served as part of NN IP’s Management Team Investments, and as a member of NN IP’s ESG Board, chairing its Proxy Voting Committee.
In the memo, Ulrich Körner, Credit Suisse’s CEO Asset Management, and Lydie Hudson, CEO Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions, wrote:
“The appointment of a Global Head of Sustainable Investing for Asset Management underscores our commitment to the topic, and reflects the continued, growing importance of sustainability and ESG integration for our clients and for Credit Suisse. We are confident that Jeroen is the ideal candidate to drive forward and accelerate our sustainability efforts in Asset Management.”
Bos will take on the new role effective January 1, and will be based in Zurich.
