Accounting and advisory firm BDO announced today the appointment of Hannah Routh as its Head of Sustainability and ESG in the UK.

In her new role, Routh will lead the firm’s Sustainability and ESG services practice, with responsibility for building and growing its advisory offerings, which include ESG reporting and assurance, climate and carbon advisory, supply chain due diligence and sustainable finance.

Routh joins BDO from Deloitte, where initially she led the Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory business for the Asia Pacific region before returning to the UK in 2020 to take on a similar role. Prior to joining Deloitte, she served in roles including Sustainability and Climate Change Consulting Leader for PwC Hong Kong and Mainland China, and as Managing Director for climate and impact fund manager Camco Clean Energy.
