Capital Group Adds Jessica Ground as Global Head of ESG
Investment firm Capital Group announced today that it has hired industry veteran Jessica Ground as its new Global Head of ESG.
In her new role, Ms. Ground will be responsible for incorporating Capital Group’s ESG approach into its investment process globally, working with teams across the enterprise including Investment Groups, Distribution, Marketing and Technology. The position also involves actively representing the firm in organizations promoting ESG issues across the business landscape.
Prior to joining Capital Group, Ground spent 20 years at Schroders, most recently serving as Global Head of Stewardship. In that role, she was responsible for ensuring full ESG integration into Schroders investment process, as well as for managing the portfolios ethically constrained clients. Ground also served as a fund manager and analyst at the firm.
Ms. Ground is a Board Member of the Investor Forum, and also serves as Chair of The Investment Association’s Stewardship Committee.
